By fall of 2021, Aadil moved to Singapore. It was at this point, with the rage of Covid showing no abetting, he took the bold decision of finally hanging his bat from competitive TT and focusing fully on his academics, in pursuit of excellence in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) at Dulwich College Singapore.

Aadil channeled his passion into compassion by contributing his energy to weekly volunteering sessions with a not for profit organization in Singapore (TT4G: Table Tennis for Good), teaching Table Tennis to the elderly and those suffering from Parkinson’s and Dementia.

With a robust programme supported by the Singapore Government Ministry of Health (MOH) and in partnership with the Active SG government initiative, Aadil is steering TT4G’s careful and strategic extension of footprint into a wider cross section of elderly homes in Singapore. He has successfully managed to do so and start pilot programs in two new centres recently.

Aadil has always liked to mentor younger players in the TT clubs where he trains, Boosters Academy in Thane, Maharashtra, India as well as at Fusion TTC in London, The UK.

compassion

TT4G partnership and starting/running the after school TT club in Dulwich Singapore; has given him a chance to stay in touch with TT and give back to the sport, a small part of what he has gained from it.

Adding a 100 more smiles to the world around him is a goal that he has well fulfilled through this process of paying it forward utilizing the medium of Table Tennis.
